Division Governor

Sawarnjit Singh, ACS, CL

Visited his first Toastmasters meeting in Santa Ana at Kaplan’s restaurant on Main Street. He joined Toastmasters in 1993 with Smedley Chapter One. Served as area governor in 2007-2008 for Distinguished Area A-1

Assistant Division Governror

Daniel Cossack, ACS, CL

Joined Toastmasters in 2005 with Latin Leaders/Lideres Latinos Club 583774, a bilingual club in Santa Ana. He has served as club president and area governor. His goal is to achieve Distinguished Toastmaster.

Area 1 Governor

Becky Smith, CC

Becky has been a member of AMO Visionaries Toastmasters Club since November 2005 and is currently the secretary for the club. She is also a member of Le Gourmet Toastmasters Club and is the current secretary.

Area 2 Governor

Diana Singh, CC

Wife, Mother, Full-time employee for local Architectural Engineering firm, student and Toastmaster since November 2006.

Area 3 Governor

Jim DuWaldt, ATMB, CL

Jim DuWaldt has an AC Bronze and has been a Toastmaster for four and a half years. His home club is South Coast Toastmasters, an evening club.

Area 4 Governor

Nahetzin Velasco, ACB

Member of Latin Leaders Toastmasters club since 2005 and served as club president in 2007-2008. First place division winner of the International Speech Contest in spring of 2008. She is a Ballroom Dance instructor and adrenaline junkie.

Gary Osterbach, CC

Gary Osterbach, who has been a member of Smedley Club No. 1 since 2004, resides in Fountain Valley with his wife Laurie, and they have two grown children - Rachel and Jonathan. Gary was born and raised in Chicago, and is very much looking forward to celebrating his beloved Cubs first championship in a century later this year.

Bill Neal, DTM

Bill became a Toastmaster in 1986, Division A Lt.Governor 1990-91. Currently Founders Mentor Chair and Division A Contest Chair. He is retired, loves to travel and play duplicate bridge. He is a member of Second Stage Club 3742, and Advanced Leadership Training Club 6570.

Jimmy Adams has been a member of Toastmasters since Feb 2005. He believes the skills learned in Toastmasters can be life changing and bring opportunities to your life you once never thought possible.

Steve Chandler

Steve Chandler is a charter member of the Fluor Discovery Toastmasters Club in Irvine, CA, where he serves as VP of Education & Training. He is concurrently working towards his Competent Communicator and Competent Leader awards.

Public Relations Chair

Siri Payakapan, ACB

As a charter member of Tools 2 Lead since May 2006, Siri Payakapan is in her 2nd year as VP-Education. She works for the County of Orange as project & policy analyst.

Youth Programs Chair

Lorelei Clark, CC, CL

Lorelei has been a Toastmasters member since 2006 and has served as both the Treasurer and VP of Membership at the club level. Since joining she has produced the club newsletter and is currently working with the Braille Institute to start a Youth Leadership Program for blind children.

New Clubs Chair

Colette Gardner, DTM, PDG

Colette joined Toastmasters in March 1977, is the past 1987-88 Founders District Governor. Her theme was: "Rising above our best" which she feels Toastmaster offers to all members. She enjoys classical music especially piano and organ.
